About Inkluzivni park 1890
Inclusive Park 1890, operated by the Institute for Education and Environmental Revitalization, functions as a social enterprise and spans approximately 15 hectares of land.
Our activities focus on education, consulting, research, and showcasing best practices in the field of environmental revitalization and coexistence with nature.
We primarily operate in Vrhnika, but recently, we have been expanding our network of partnerships across the Ljubljanica River basin, in the Notranjska region, and internationally.
Our operating philosophy is focused on the circulation of materials and the use of local resources.
In the park, we take care of biodiversity and the living conditions for both wildlife and the surrounding community. We also organize workshops and provide advice on sustainable management for home gardens.

Environmental care
Sustainable farming
We operate in accordance with sustainable farming practices, which include the use of local resources and minimal use of chemicals and artificial fertilizers. Our soil is rich in nutrients, and we nurture it with organic methods, enabling the production of healthier and ecologically grown food.
Biodiversity conservation
Through awareness and education, we promote the diversity of plants and animals in our environment and the preservation of natural habitats. We encourage ecosystem resilience and reduce the risk of pests and diseases.
Energy efficiency
By utilizing renewable energy sources such as solar and hydro power, we strive to reduce our carbon footprint. We are also committed to using energy-efficient devices and technology to minimize energy consumption.
